Job summary

The City of St. Peters is seeking a Parks Worker to join the Maintenance Crew Projects Team. This outdoor, hands-on role supports 27 parks and 29 miles of trails with construction and maintenance tasks year-round.

Normal shift: Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., some weekends. Duties include concrete installation, asphalt paving, material hauling, minor building repairs, park upkeep, equipment operation, and snow removal as needed. High school diploma and 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of applicable experience preferred.
• Must possess Class B CDL with air brakes or obtain within 120 days of employment; CDIP within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction operations including concrete and asphalt work.
• Repair and maintain parks, facilities, and trails.
• Operate light and heavy equipment (vehicles up to Class A CDL with air brakes).
• Maintain and clean park facilities and assist with snow removal.
