Job summary

The City of St. Peters is seeking a Parks Worker to join the Maintenance Crew Projects Team, performing outdoor construction and upkeep across 27 parks and 29 miles of trails.

Responsibilities include concrete, asphalt work, repairs, snow removal, and facilities maintenance, with a typical Mon-Fri schedule and occasional weekends. A high school diploma, one year of experience, and a Missouri Class B CDL with air brakes are required or obtainable within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized to work.
• High School graduate or GED certificate.
• One (1) year of applicable experience.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 75 lbs.
• Must have Class B CDL with air brakes (Missouri) or obtain within 120 days of employment; CDIP within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction operations including concrete installation, asphalt paving, material hauling, gradework, installation of stormwater structures, and operation of light/heavy equipment up to Class A CDL with air brakes.
• Perform minor building and facility repairs (plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical).
• Assist with upkeep and repair of parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and trails.
• Maintain light/heavy equipment, power tools, and motorized equipment.
• Assist with snow removal operations during winter.
