Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous manual labor experience preferred.
• Candidate must have a personal electronic device capable of phone/text usage; City reimburses business use.
• Must have a valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must have regular and punctual attendance, reliable transportation, and overtime/weekend flexibility.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and essential job function screening.

Responsibilities

• Arrives at work on time prepared to work the assigned schedule.
• Operates motorized equipment and performs related maintenance tasks.
• Performs maintenance and safety duties for parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields.
• Interacts professionally with the public and coworkers daily.
• Regular and timely attendance is required for this position.
