Job summary

Legends Global at Reliant Park in Houston, TX is seeking an Outside Operations Manager to lead the daily supervision of parking operations, traffic control, and event signage. You will coordinate staff, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring client requirements and park policies are met.

You will review contracts, assist in budgeting, manage equipment and sign inventory, and stay current with safety plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
(4) years’ related experience and/or training in the public assembly industry in a supervisory or management position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
Position is routinely required to work outdoors and is exposed to the elements (heat, rain, etc.).

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of traffic operations, including event coordination, parking lot set up/tear down, traffic control, filing permits for road closures, programming vehicle and pedestrian directional signage and permits for placement.
Assist management with Staffing, which will include Parkers, Lead Parkers, Parking Supervisors, Gate Attendants, Gate Supervisors and Coordinators.
Implement and train all employees on the outside operations procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies that conform to NRG Park standards.
Manage the preparation and negotiation of service agreements for parking services, maintenance, and other service agreements as needed.
Review contracts for compliance with event and/or government specifications and NRG Park requirements.
