Job summary

North Wind Resource Consulting seeks a Natural Resources Field Technician to support data collection and field surveys in Casper, WY and surrounding areas. The role involves 8 days on/6 days off with 75-100% travel, and supervision by a Field Technician Lead.

The position runs through the field season with potential extension and start around April/May. Candidates should be comfortable outdoors, learn vegetation sampling and soil characterization, and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Work in teams of 2-3 to collect data and perform field sampling per NRCS NRI methods.
• Follow field protocols and safety standards during outdoor operations.
• Learn vegetation identification, soil sampling techniques, and data collection protocols.
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure proper entry and review of collected data.
