Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking reliable part-time Cleaners for a busy outdoor shopping mall in San Diego. The role involves exterior and interior cleaning, restrooms, floors, and common areas, with shifts 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and approximately 20–30+ hours weekly.

Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and capable of following safety procedures. The position supports an outdoor mall environment, with weekends and holidays potentially required.

Qualifications

• 6 months–1 year janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• General knowledge of janitorial cleaning practices.
• Ability to use basic cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Comfortable with indoors and outdoors.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the property.
• Clean exterior areas, sidewalks and common areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms.
• Sweep, mop and maintain floors.
• Dust and wipe surfaces.
• Disinfect high-touch areas and surfaces.
• Remove garbage and debris.
• Clean entrances and walkways.
• Assist with outdoor cleaning and general property maintenance.
• Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
