Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Outside Recovery Associate to support our outdoor merchandising area, help customers load their purchases, and keep the exterior presentation welcoming.

You’ll price and zone outdoor merchandise, unload deliveries, gather carts, assist customers, and uphold the Outdoor Merchandising Guide while maintaining a safe, clean parking lot.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and safe operation of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Familiarity with in-store computer systems, scanning tech, and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers in loading their purchases into their vehicles.
• Collect customer signatures for load out tickets to confirm successful transactions.
• Perform load outs to customers from the store to their vehicles, ensuring safe loading.
• Adhere to the Outdoor Merchandising Guide for consistent exterior presentation.
• Ensure accurate pricing of products for customer convenience.
• Keep parking lot, corral, and designated areas clean and well-maintained.
• Zone outdoor merchandising spaces to maintain an orderly display.
• Operate retail equipment such as Telxon gun, forklift, pallet jack, ladder and other tools.
• Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments.
