Job summary

Snow King Mountain Resort in Jackson Hole, WY, seeks an Lift & Activity Operations Manager to lead daily operations, supervision of lift operators and activity staff, and to ensure safe, efficient experiences for guests across winter and summer offerings.

The role requires scheduling, training oversight, and close collaboration with maintenance and mountain operations to uphold safety standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates teamwork and support for management.
• Monitors lifts and personnel for compliance with signage, licenses, procedures.
• Ensure all operational logs, inspections, training records, and regulatory documentation are completed on time.
• Responsible for scheduling and ensuring staffing for lifts and activities.
• Promote a strong guest-service culture by leading by example and ensuring staff provide friendly, professional service.
• Empower and lead employees to create positive guest experiences.
• Manage activities including Chairlifts, Gondola, Tube Park, Mountain Coaster, Alpine Slide.
• Staff mountain concerts and events; oversee cart repair for Alpine Slide and Mountain Coaster.
• Participate in all phases of lift operator duties as needed; assist opening/closing of lifts.
• Conduct and oversee employee training and maintain records for company, regulatory, and insurance requirements.
• Build a positive, accountable team culture.
• Flexible with schedule for openings, closings, and events.
• Ensure timely and accurate pay for all employees.
• Schedule and assign work duties; conduct disciplinary actions and performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with ANSI B77 standards and SOPs.
• Perform additional operational duties to support safe operations.
