Job summary

TruGreen Limited in Cedar Falls, IA is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homes across North Central Iowa. You’ll apply lawn care treatments, manage your route, and build strong customer relationships while working outdoors daily.

The role offers paid training, a company vehicle, and DOT certification support. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with higher rates for licensed candidates, plus benefits including Health/Dental/Vision and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route and manage customer information.
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
