Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Cedar Falls, IA to service a defined route and provide high-quality lawn care outdoors. You'll receive paid training, work with a local team, and have opportunities for career growth as you build the skills needed to succeed.

This role includes driving a company vehicle, applying treatments, and maintaining customer relationships. A valid license and ability to pass background checks are required; fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
