Job summary

BrightView in Greer, SC is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties. Under supervision, you will perform basic tasks and help operate a range of landscaping equipment.

You will prune shrubs, plant and maintain beds, mulch, weed, and assist with routine equipment upkeep while maintaining a friendly, safety-conscious demeanor toward guests and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and enthusiastic.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas edger/trimmer, and operate a gas blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape and growth.
• Plant and maintain flower beds; mulch leaves and organic matter.
• Weed by hand or with hand tools; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a polite demeanor with guests and report unsafe conditions.
