Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support across a variety of properties. This role involves performing basic tasks under supervision, operating commercial-grade equipment safely, and assisting with plant materials and landscape features.

The ideal candidate is 18+ years old, enthusiastic, dependable, and able to safely operate mowers, edgers, trimmers, and blowers. Flexibility for weekends or holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and enthusiastic.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, mower).

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to shape growth or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flower beds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Remove trash and blow leaves, mulch leaves when mowing.
• Weeding by hand or with hand tools; basic equipment maintenance.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
