Job summary

Moana Nursery seeks a landscape maintenance teammate to work on a small crew maintaining customers' landscapes year-round. The role is physically active and involves outdoor conditions on commercial and residential properties with a foreman and 3–4 teammates, focusing on mowing, pruning, irrigation, weed control, and seasonal cleanups.

The team follows safety policies, collaborates to plan maintenance, and ensures high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NV Driver's License is a plus and can lead to higher pay.
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is desirable.
• Nursery Worker Certification and Q.W.E.L are nice-to-have credentials.
• Certified Landscape Technician status is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Moana Nursery's strict safety policies.
• Develops maintenance plans with project manager and foreman to improve properties.
• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems and related components.
• Aerates, dethatches, mows, edges grass; prunes trees and shrubs.
• Plants trees, shrubs, perennials and grasses; applies fertilizers and weed controls.
• Performs snow removal and winter-related work when needed.
• Ensures equipment and vehicles are operating properly; communicates with team daily.
