Knoxville's Community Development Corporation (KCDC) is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming residential communities across Knoxville. The role emphasizes outdoor projects, vegetation management, and property upkeep to improve curb appeal.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Heavy lifting and weather-resistant duties are routine, with long-term commitment to community improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related hands-on work.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work outdoors.
• Willing to learn weed control practices and herbicide safety.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Taming the outdoors: clear brush, trim vegetation, remove weeds, keep landscaped areas looking great.
• Safely operate weed eaters, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, edgers, and other grounds maintenance tools.
• Spread mulch, prune shrubs, maintain flower beds, and improve community appearance.
• Remove debris, perform general grounds cleanup, and maintain safe outdoor spaces.
• Take initiative to identify what needs cleaning, trimming, or improvement.
• Assist with other maintenance projects and duties, especially in bad weather.
