Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Hobbs, NM, is seeking a facilities maintenance teammate. The role supports hospitality operations with groundskeeping, basic electrical/mechanical tasks, and proactive issue resolution.

The starting salary is posted at $14.50 per hour, with benefits such as health coverage and 401(k) eligibility, depending on position. This is a full-time on-site role with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Facilities maintenance experience in hospitality or related field, or groundskeeping/landscaping experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical and basic finishing.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with issues.

Responsibilities

• Pressure washes outside of casino, decks, entrances to the casino, and other areas as needed and/or as directed.
• Cleans grounds and removes litter.
• Removes all trash from parking lot as needed.
• Spreads salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup.
• Water’s lawn and shrubs; trims plants as needed.
• Cleans out drainage, ditches, and culverts.
• Makes minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, spreader, and snow removal equipment.
• Makes and maintains areas in a sanitary manner.
• Maintains confidentiality in all company matters.
