Job summary

Avesta Housing is seeking a dependable Landscaper to maintain the grounds of our affordable housing communities in Maine. You will care for lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor spaces, with snow removal in winter and collaboration with management teams to ensure safe, welcoming properties.

This full‑time, hourly role starts at $19.00–$21.50 per hour. Strong English communication, a valid driver’s license, and landscaping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous landscaping experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions and use sound judgement.
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software as needed.
• Comfort with technology in general to work with Agency tools and systems.
• Flexible with work schedule; willing to work long hours, evenings, weekends and overtime (especially during winter months).
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a close‑knit team, communicating effectively and supporting coworkers throughout the workday.
