Avesta Housing is seeking a dependable Landscaper to maintain and enhance grounds at our affordable housing communities in Maine. In this hands-on role, you’ll care for lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor spaces year-round, including snow removal in winter.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous landscaping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Flexible with work schedule; overtime may be required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn Agency tools.
• Comfort with technology to work with Agency tools and systems.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor common areas.
• Operate landscaping and snow removal equipment.
• Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to keep sites safe and welcoming.
• Assist with winter snow and ice management.
