Job summary

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeping Team Member to maintain our campus grounds through mowing, edging, planting, and general landscape upkeep.

You will work outdoors, operate landscaping equipment, and support irrigation and seasonal tasks as part of a collaborative team. The role emphasizes safe, efficient outdoor work and pride in creating welcoming, well-kept environments for visitors and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Preference for experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Valid New Mexico driver's license and ability to pass screening.
• Native American preference per policy.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns using mowers/edgers.
• Plant, water, fertilize, and maintain plantings and trees.
• Mulch, weed, rake, and remove thatch; keep grounds attractive.
• Collect litter and maintain clean grounds daily.
• Operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely.
• Assist with irrigation and adjust watering practices.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and apply salt as needed.
• Perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned.
