Job summary

Mccullough Development Inc in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Groundskeeper responsible for overall appearance and cleanliness of properties. You will work outdoors most of the time, assist with turnovers and work orders, and report to the Property Manager.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, planting, debris removal, snow removal, and assisting with preventive maintenance. Must maintain safety and professionalism with residents and staff; valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school/GED and one year of groundskeeper experience preferred.
• Understanding of methods, techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used in groundskeeping.
• Ability to use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic grounds and landscaping maintenance using power driven tools and equipment.
• Remove trash/debris from exterior common areas and parking lots.
• Sweep sidewalks and curbs; empty pet waste stations where applicable.
• Sweep/blow leaves from walkways and behind A/C condensers.
• Remove snow using snowblower and shoveling; apply ice melt as needed.
• Plant, water, and maintain landscaped areas (bushes, trees, flowers).
• Trim and prune bushes and trees; refresh mulch/rocks; overseed lawns.
• Fertilize lawns, trees, and flowers; assist with preventive maintenance (gutter cleaning, condenser washing, parking lot striping).
• Abide safety standards and wear protective equipment; report to site office; maintain logs.
