Job summary

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring a Groundskeeper to maintain attractive, safe, and healthy grounds for our community.

The role involves daily outdoor tasks, trimming, lawn care, plantings, and basic maintenance, with a focus on detail and customer service for residents. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), a $20.00 per hour wage, a $500 sign-on bonus, and benefits including 401(k) matching, health and more.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping and/or basic maintenance preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Keep walkways, driveways, and other areas free from debris and litter.
• Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
• Assists with maintenance work orders.
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
