Job summary

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that the grounds of the community are attractive, orderly, and healthy.

If you have a passion for outdoor work and take pride in maintaining an inviting and well-kept environment that enhances the community’s appeal, we want to hear from you! This Full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and compensation of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Travel to Lexington, KY for training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds daily for needed repairs and maintenance.
• Keep walkways and common areas free of debris.
• Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
• Assist with maintenance work orders.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units as directed by Property Manager.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a safe environment for residents and visitors.

Position Details:

• Job Type:Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Compensation:$18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Keep walkways, driveways, and other areas free from debris and litter.
• Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
• Assists with maintenance work orders.
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
