Job summary

EJF Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking a Janitorial Technician to maintain the cleanliness and condition of community common areas in the Washington, DC area.

You will support residents and guests by keeping pool houses and exterior spaces tidy, safe, and welcoming. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, operate standard cleaning tools, and report issues to the Community Association Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year janitorial, custodial, groundskeeping, or related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the pool house, including hallways, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Clean all exterior common areas, including tennis courts, walkways, stairwells, sidewalks, curblines, parking lots, and trash stations.
• Collect and dispose of litter and debris throughout the property.
• Replace light bulbs in common area fixtures that are safely within reach.
• Perform routine property inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns to CAM.
• Assist with light snow removal and ice treatment during inclement weather.
• Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
