Job summary

Black Diamond Equipment seeks a Retail Store Manager in Boulder, CO to lead store operations and drive revenue. You will hire and train staff, manage daily sales, and ensure strong customer service while maintaining inventory and store standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of outdoors gear retail management, with a High School Diploma and preferably a related Bachelor’s degree. You will partner with leadership to execute events and promotions and maintain profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years retail store management experience in outdoor equipment industry.
• Bachelor level education preferred in marketing, sales/merchandising, business or related field.
• Experience leading staff, budget oversight and customer-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service; set daily sales quotas and review performance.
• Create sales and merchandising strategies, promotions and advertising programs.
• Monitor customer feedback and sales trends to adjust plans.
• Oversee store budget, P&L, inventory and loss prevention measures.
• Represent the store at meetings and engage with the local community.
