Sportsman's Warehouse in Cincinnati is looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, supervise Outfitters, and drive daily operations with a focus on coaching and merchandising.

You will guide staff, manage schedules, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining inventory controls and store standards. This full-time role offers growth opportunities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail with team leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in outdoor/sporting goods retail preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management and sales data analysis.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools (Tomax, UKG).

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor team; foster engagement and high performance.
• Coordinate with Outfitters; train and address concerns.
• Support performance reviews with constructive feedback.
• Manage daily store operations; ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee departments; maintain standards and efficiency.
• Assist in openings/closings; ensure security and procedures.
• Hire, train, onboard new staff; integrate into culture.
• Drive sales and merchandising to hit targets.
• Ensure service and product knowledge across staff.
• Organize in-store events and promotions.
• Maintain inventory records, cycle counts, and compliance.
• Analyze sales, labor, inventory reports; report to manager.
