REI Co-op in San Jose seeks a Store Sales Specialist to share product knowledge, assist customers, and promote memberships. You will help with transactions, keep products organized on the floor, and contribute to a welcoming, informative shopping experience.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, knowledge of REI offerings, and maintaining store standards while supporting a diverse team and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Store retail experience preferred.
• Enjoys communicating and building relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Open to feedback and adaptable to a fast-paced store environment.
• Uses judgment to solve problems and make recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with product questions, memberships, and special ticket sales.
• Maintain store visual standards with management and leads.
• Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI products/services.
• Support store pickup, receive and process products.
• Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Additional duties as assigned.
