Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Lincoln, NE, is hiring a part-time Hardline Sales Associate. You will actively engage customers on the sales floor, answer product questions, and guide them through purchases while delivering an enthusiastic, world-class service experience.

You’ll contribute to smooth store operations, learn Scheels’ training programs, and help with inventory restocking, merchandising, and basic cashier duties. Strong communication and computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months of retail or sales experience preferred.
• Greet customers, provide world-class service, assess needs, and assist with purchases.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and guiding them through the sale.
• Grow personal sales by meeting set goals and following Scheels' salesmanship standards.
• Create a positive end-user experience based on the products purchased.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and support with freight processing and restocking.
• Demonstrate product usage and retrieve products from heights of 6 ft or more.
• Attend all Scheels product trainings and store meetings; assist in training new associates.
• Navigate a PC and handheld inventory computer/scanner (Microsoft Office, Google Email/Docs, AS400).
• Assist in all other duties as directed by leadership.
