Job summary

National Garden Service is seeking a Garden Center Merchandiser for part-time, seasonal support at stores in Sandy and Draper, UT. You will display outdoor plants, maintain displays, water plants, and assist floral with watering plans and signage.

Expect interaction with staff and customers, plus reporting via the Go Spot Check app. Requirements include a smartphone, dependable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Display outdoor plants and maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials and develop watering plans with floral lead.
• Ensure signs are correct and displays are safe and clean.
• Interact with store personnel and customers; build positive relationships.
• Complete reports for each store serviced and use Go Spot Check app.
• Understand and execute planograms; assemble/tear down outdoor benching.

• Store #47 - 2039 East 9400 South Sandy, Utah 84093
• Store #132 - 212 East 12300 South Draper, Utah 84020

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:

• Have a smart phone
