Job summary

National Garden Service, LLC is seeking a Garden Center Merchandiser for part-time, seasonal work at stores #811 Beavercreek and #829 Xenia, OH. You will display outdoor plants, maintain displays, water plants, and support floral department with a watering plan.

You will interact with store staff and customers, document visits using the Go Spot Check app, and ensure signage, safety, and cleanliness of displays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in heat, cold and rain.
• Lift, push and carry up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Have a smartphone to document visits using the Go Spot Check app.
• Display and maintain outdoor plant offerings and signage.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with floral department manager
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

• Store #829 - 1700 W Park Square, Xenia, OH 45385

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
