National Garden Service, LLC in Avon, IN seeks a part-time Garden Center Merchandiser to support Store #985 at 108 N Avon Ave. This outdoor role involves displaying a variety of outdoor plants, maintaining product displays, watering plants, and recording visits with the Go Spot Check app.

You will lift up to 30 lbs, work in heat, cold, and rain, and build positive relationships with store staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Part-time, seasonal outdoor role in a garden center.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
• Experience with planograms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Display a variety of outdoor plants.
• Maintain product displays.
• Water all plant materials.
• Develop a watering plan with floral dept manager.
• Ensure proper signage is in place.
• Maintain a safe, clean display area.
• Remove and record expired plant material.
• Interact with store personnel and customers.
• Develop positive relationships with store management and associates.
• Complete reports for each store serviced.
• Document visits using the Go Spot Check app.

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, your workday will include:

• Display a variety of outdoor plants
• Maintain product displays
• Water all plant materials
• Develop a watering plan with the floral department manager for additional support as needed
• Ensure proper signage is in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area
• Remove and record expired plant material
• Interacting with store personnel and customers
• Develop a positive working relationship with store management and associates
• Complete report for each store serviced
• Document every visit using the Go Spot Check app

As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will be required to:

• Have a smart phone
