Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an on-site Fleet Associate at our Norfolk location to move fleet vehicles, inventory, and keep lots organized. You will help ensure vehicles are ready for customers, track status with a handheld device, and assist with parking and safety practices.

We value reliability, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and the willingness to work various shifts. This role requires a valid driver's license and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds; remote work is

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to work outdoors, near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels, and drive vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; stand/walk/sit/kneel frequently; and drive a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site presence required; cannot be remote.

Responsibilities

• Move fleet vehicles efficiently within lots or between locations.
• Inventory vehicles and update status on handheld device.
• Keep parking areas organized, safe and tidy.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for customers and expedite rental process.
