Job summary

HB NEXT is seeking a dependable Installation Technician to install, maintain, and recover permit boxes and driveway blockers on residential and commercial construction sites in Coastal SC. The role involves outdoor work, documentation, and regular communication with supervisors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a clean driver’s license, and experience with hand/power tools. Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install permit boxes, stands, adapters, decals, and driveway blockers to company standards.
• Ensure equipment is secure, level, visible, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Remove and recover equipment after project completion.
• Inspect equipment for damage and perform minor repairs or prep for replacement.
• Assemble and prepare new permit box stands as needed.
• Maintain inventory of installation materials and tools.
