Job summary

PURIS, based in Colorado Springs, seeks a field technician to support water and sewer rehabilitation projects. The role focuses on locating, investigating, and cleaning lines under supervision, with hands-on labor and driving duties as needed.

This position requires outdoor construction experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to travel up to 90%. CDL is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, carry, and haul up to 75 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
• Safety Certifications for Confined Space, OSHA-related trainings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors on water and sewer rehabilitation and repair projects.
• Direct equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites, including lifting and carrying items.
• Review entry and work permits; assist in reviewing pre/post-installation videos.
• Enter manholes and confined spaces.
• Haul equipment and crew members by driving various vehicles.
• Submit work orders for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor for safety hazards and report issues to the supervisor.
