Job summary

PURIS in Colorado Springs is seeking a Field Technician to support trenchless rehabilitation projects. This full-time role involves locating, inspecting, and cleaning sewer and stormwater lines to enable rehab and repair.

The position requires physical labor, valid driver’s license, CDL preferred, ability to travel up to 90%, and a safety-focused mindset. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $24–$32 plus a $1,000 bonus after 180 days and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Previous outdoor construction experience required.
• CDL is preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Safety certifications for Confined Space, Competent Person, OSHA 10/30 or higher as required.
• Ability to travel up to 90% if needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors on water and sewer rehab projects.
• Direct equipment alignment, movement and adjustment to fit location needs.
• Assist in setup/cleanup, including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Review entry and work permits; review pre/post-installation videos.
• Enter manhole or confined space.
• Perform job site setup/cleanup.
• Haul equipment and crew by driving various vehicles.
• Complete driver’s daily record of duty.
• Submit work orders for vehicle and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Continuously monitor for safety hazards and report issues.
