Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Pipelayer to join our field crew in the Florida region. The role focuses on locating, inspecting, and cleaning for the rehabilitation and repair of sewer and stormwater lines, working closely with supervisors and peers.

The ideal candidate has experience in physical labor, is capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, and can travel as required. CDL is preferred and safety certifications are valued. Join a team dedicated to safe, efficient trenchless renewal solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Experience in physical labor/outdoor construction is required.
• CIPP experience is preferred.
• CDL (preferred) is a plus.
• Acceptable driving record is required.
• Safety certifications for Confined Space, Competent Person, OSHA 10/30 hours, and traffic control certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors and peers on water and sewer rehabilitation and repair projects.
• Direct equipment alignment, movement, and adjustment to conform to location needs.
• Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites, including lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+ lbs.
• Review entry and work permits; review pre/post-installation videos.
• Enter manholes and confined spaces as needed.
• Perform job site setup and cleanup.
• Haul equipment and crew members by driving various vehicles.
• Submit work orders for vehicle and equipment maintenance, as needed.
• Continuously monitor for safety hazards and report to the supervisor.
• Other tasks as assigned.
