Job summary

The Town of Superior is seeking motivated individuals to work outdoors providing hands on support for the community. The Field Maintenance Technician I provides maintenance of the water, sewer and storm water systems, water meter installation, street maintenance, street sign installation and snow removal.

Works under the supervision of the Field Maintenance Superintendent. Position is non-exempt under FLSA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform water/sewer maintenance and related tasks.
• Must obtain CDL within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform water and wastewater pipeline maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain meters, valves, hydrants and related appurtenances.
• Maintain streets, signs, and perform snow removal as needed.
• Read meters, record consumption, and identify issues.
• Assist with routine vehicle and equipment maintenance.
