Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services seeks Field Data Technicians to collect field data on outdoor utility and telecom facilities, with travel to Arkansas and other sites. The role involves hiking between poles and using tablets, cameras and measuring tools to capture accurate data.

This full-time position starts at $24.50/hour with weekly pay, travel typically 1–2 weeks at a time, occasional longer assignments, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical background preferred.
• Willing to travel overnight 1–2 weeks.
• Ability to read GPS maps and follow data collection procedures.
• Comfort with outdoor work in all weather and physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data for fiber optic and utility projects.
• Measure attachment heights, span distances, angles.
• Submit organized data including maps, notes, and images.
• Operate tablet, camera and measuring tools in field.
• Represent Osmose professionally to clients.
• Coordinate with project management daily.
