Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is seeking Field Data Technicians to collect data on outdoor utility and telecom facilities. The role involves hiking between utility poles to capture data for engineering and fiber optic projects, with training provided.

The position requires routine overnight travel, 1–2 weeks away from home, and weekends at home with occasional longer assignments. Starting pay is $24.50/hour with potential hourly bonuses, hotel accommodations, pay increases, living allowances,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in outdoor environments to collect field data for fiber optic facilities.
• Submit organized data including maps, field notes and images.
• Operate and maintain tablets, cameras, measuring tools, and PPE.
• Represent Osmose professionally in the field and to customers.
• Communicate daily with the project management team.
• Work safely and independently.
