Job summary

Kinsley Construction is seeking an Environmental Technician for our field crew in York, PA. The role focuses on assisting operators, installing stabilization matting, and performing seeding, hydroseeding, and bio‑engineering tasks.

This position requires willingness to work outdoors in all weather and follow safety procedures. The Environmental Technician will help with planting trees and shrubs, reading project plans, and supporting foremen to ensure efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Prior landscaping or labor experience is required.
• Experience supervising others is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather is required.
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Transports and installs stabilization matting in diverse terrain.
• Performs seeding, strawing and hydroseeding tasks.
• Plants trees and shrubs as directed by Foreman.
• Reads blueprints and project plans for jobsite layout.
• Operates tools and equipment safely and maintains clean work area.
• Adheres to all safety rules and project instructions.
