Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated is seeking a Kidder Creek Outdoor Education Naturalist to assist and lead students and guests in outdoor education and related activities, aligning with MHA’s mission, vision and beliefs.

The position emphasizes teaching, safety, and care for equipment, with responsibilities including transporting campers, food prep support, and participating in staff meetings. A Christian witness is required and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of college experience preferred.
• Must be CPR/FA certified prior to arriving at camp.
• WFR, WFA or WAFA certification is preferred.
• Current valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• Food Handler’s Card.

Responsibilities

• Teach Outdoor Education classes.
• Facilitate recreation and adventure activities for spring and fall guests.
• Care for and maintain OE, Adventure and Recreation equipment; report damaged items.
• Transport campers to and from wilderness, adventure, river and camp activities.
• Ensure the safety of all guests.
• Assist with food prep and serving.
• Custodial and Guest Services as assigned.
• Maintenance and Facilities as assigned.
• Attend all required staff meetings and events.
