Job summary

CPS Outdoors in Miami Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Outdoor Design & Drafting Manager to lead the design development and documentation of complete outdoor environments, including pools, spas, water features, patios, hardscape, and outdoor living spaces. You will work with clients, architects, and internal teams to develop cohesive designs that complement the property.

You will oversee the drafting team, manage schedules, ensure quality, and mentor staff while maintaining CAD and BIM

Qualifications

Experience in architectural and outdoor design principles.
Ability to lead design and coordination meetings with clients.
Experience in design documentation for pools, hardscape, and outdoors.
Proactive leadership and staff development.
Strong CAD/BIM workflow knowledge and standards management.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients and project teams to define goals and vision.
Develop complete outdoor environments including pools, water features, and patios.
Apply design principles of proportion, scale, and sightlines.
Create 3D models, renderings, and presentations for approvals.
Lead projects from concept to construction documentation.
Manage drafting operations, schedules, and workload.
Review drawings for quality, coordination, and compliance.
Maintain AutoCAD and Revit standards and workflows.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve issues.
Lead and mentor drafting staff to ensure quality.
