Job summary

The Colorado Department of Natural Resources, through Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), seeks a temporary staff member to assist with deer and elk head intake, data collection, and CWD testing work. You will also handle customer sales of licenses and park products, requiring outdoor work in all weather and strong public interaction.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google products)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs
• Weekend and evening work may be required

Responsibilities

• Accept hunter-harvested deer and elk heads for CWD testing and data collection
• Handle payments and process samples for CWD testing
• Sell licenses and park products to customers (licenses, passes, registrations)
• Drive relay routes to transport samples from collection sites to testing locations
• Provide information to customers in person and over the phone
