Job summary

Parking Lot Maintenance, Inc. is a construction contractor in Virginia, seeking a full-time Laborer to join our Newport News field crew. Responsibilities include site preparation, sealcoating, and line striping, working 40+ hours per week with possible overtime.

The role requires outdoor work, teamwork, and following project plans. Applicants must be 18+, able to pass a drug test, legally able to work in the US, and have reliable transportation to the Newport News shop.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the Newport News shop each scheduled workday.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation, sitework, underground utility install/repair.
• Sealcoating.
• Line striping.
• Daily tasks include using basic hand tools and power tools, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and cooperate with crew members.
• Follow project plans and directions from supervisors.
