Job summary

JMT Landscape Group LLC is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our preconstruction team in Indianapolis. You will analyze civil, architectural, landscape, and structural drawings to prepare competitive, accurate estimates for specialty outdoor projects.

You will collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and leadership to ensure profitable proposals. We value problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple deadlines while building long-term careers

Qualifications

• 2–5 years estimating, project engineering, coordination, or construction mgmt experience.
• Experience in site construction, hardscape, concrete, masonry, carpentry, fencing, playgrounds.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar digital takeoff software; Excel proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs using digital estimating software.
• Review drawings, specs, bid documents.
• Identify risks, constructability issues, scope gaps.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor pricing.
• Develop complete project estimates and bid proposals.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Preconstruction Team.
• Maintain bid files and estimating databases.
• Improve estimating processes and pricing accuracy.
