Environmental Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to support its growing Central Ohio landscape construction operations.

This role focuses on preparing accurate, competitive bids for site development, hardscape, irrigation, planting, and related scopes, coordinating with sales, operations, vendors, and clients from bid through handoff. You will review documents, perform takeoffs for earthwork, hardscape, irrigation, planting, and site amenities, prepare bid proposals with

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating experience in commercial landscape or related construction field.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents, specifications, and site conditions to develop detailed and accurate project estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, hardscape, irrigation, planting, erosion control, and site amenities.
• Prepare complete bid proposals including material, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and contingencies.
• Solicit, review, and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Ensure estimates align with company production rates and profitability goals.
