Job summary

Outdoor Recreation Hospitality LLC, dba White Mountain – Pemigewasset- is seeking a Host to enhance visitor experiences in the Pemigewasset District of the White Mountain National Forest. The role covers gate, check-in, housekeeping, and basic retail duties across campground areas, with duties shared by two people as needed.

• Strong customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations with guests or co-workers.
• Basic recordkeeping and money handling experience; good math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, educate on area rules and facilities; promote programs.
• Register campers, collect fees, and sell retail items; manage reservations.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions; log revenues and data.
• Verify payments, issue tickets, and monitor parking and activity areas.
• Perform rounds to ensure rules, safety, and cleanliness are followed.
• Clean and stock restrooms and common areas; handle trash and recycling per schedule.
