Job summary

Under Canvas Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the GM and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our outdoor camp locations. You will lead customer service excellence and oversee operations with front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage teams.

You will drive staff engagement, assist with hiring, onboarding, and annual budgeting, while maintaining a positive work environment and effective communications with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of management experience or 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Willingness to travel to multiple camp locations as required.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality customer service.
• Goal-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cross trained in each property department and travel for task force work as needed.
• Deliver clear expectations to the team across operational areas.
• Hire, onboard, and support staffing decisions with GM and HR.
• Lead with strong leadership to create a guest-focused work environment.
• Monitor eNPS/NPS action plans and assist budgeting discussions.
