Job summary

PERG online is seeking a courteous bartender to deliver efficient, friendly service in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, know our beverage offerings, and ensure a clean, organized bar area while handling orders in the Micros system.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume venue, strong communication skills, wine/beer/spirits knowledge, and a professional appearance. Weekend and outdoor shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume casual environment.
• Commitment to quality service and beverage knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Wine, beer and spirits knowledge required.
• Unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire.
• Maintain professional appearance, attitude and performance.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests.
• Must have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Provide silverware and condiments prior to food presentation.
• Clean and reset bar area as guests depart or drinks are prepared.
• Set up and break down the bar correctly.
• Follow triple sink procedures.
• Communicate professionally with management, kitchen, and serving staff.
• Contribute to a professional workplace enhancing morale, productivity and effectiveness.
• Work well with a diverse Front of House and Back of House staff.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol per all legal requirements including carding.
• Accurately take orders and record transactions in Micros system.
• Maintain guest tabs and process payments promptly.
• Monitor pars and stock levels.
• Sell and upsell products.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
