Job summary

Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions is seeking a full‑time Facility Operator at our Pasco, WA facility. You will work outdoors in a tank farm and lab to produce neat and polymer-modified asphalt oil for customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to learn computer skills.
• Able to meet physical requirements (standing/walking, lift 50 pounds with assistance).
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Able to work days, Monday–Friday, some weekends.
• Outdoor work in all seasons and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product testing and quality control in the lab.
• Collect and evaluate product samples.
• Enter production and quality data into reporting systems.
• Load and unload trucks and railcars.
• Conduct minor maintenance on equipment in the plant (pumps, racks, mixers).
• Attend daily production/quality/EHS meetings.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization.
• Wear required PPE and complete trainings.
