Job summary

FOREST HOME CHRISTIAN CAMPS is hiring Outdoor Adventurer Staff to operate zip lines, challenge courses, and other recreation activities, providing a welcoming environment while ensuring safety. Training, including CPR/First Aid, is provided and certifications are covered.

Flexible start/end dates, year-round scheduling, with summer shifts from 9am to 11pm and weekend options starting in October. Responsibilities include daily setup, inspection, and operation of activities; guest instruction;

Qualifications

• 18 years of age required.
• Working toward a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified within 30 days of being hired.
• Association of Challenge Course Technology Level 1 Facilitator preferred.
• Prior experience in camp recreation is preferred.
• Prior experience in rock climbing, challenge courses, safety, and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, and operate zip lines, challenge courses, laser tag, hikes, and other activities.
• Instruct guests on safety and operation of recreation programs.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.
• Maintain equipment to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
