Biltmore Company is seeking an Outdoor Adventure Center Guide II to lead guests on raft trips, bike rides, archery and other outings on the estate. The guide will also assist with group programming, events, and support OAC management with administrative duties.

The position schedules around 20–29 hours per week, with a need for weekend and holiday availability. A High School diploma or GED, First Aid/CPR certification, and a valid NC driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and experience in outdoor leadership.
• At least 1 year of outdoor guide or similar experience.
• Experience leading interpretive activities and outdoor activities.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills, including public speaking.
• First Aid and CPR certification required (online not sufficient).
• Must be 18 years old with valid NC driver’s license and weekend/holiday availability.
• Proficiency with current ticketing and reservation systems.
• Knowledge of equipment usage for Biltmore outdoor activities.

Responsabilités

• Lead guests on outdoor outings such as biking, rafting, kayaking, and hiking.
• Assist guests with information, rental equipment, and trail map orientation.
• Move equipment and drive a 15-passenger van with trailer.
• Maintain and clean bikes, rafts, paddles, and other gear.
• Provide estate information and assist with visit planning.
